We invite you to a murder mystery night of solving crimes and indulgent dining on Saturday 27th February at Oakley Hall Hotel in Basingstoke, Hampshire! Join a cast of classic characters for a Country House whodunit in which YOU are the detective!
It's time for a family sit down. Trouble is brewing in Birmingham as the Trilbies realise that someone is on the take! But who? Tommy Trilbie wants his cash. Mr Campbell wants revenge and Aunty Dolly has your card marked! But who is out for blood?
Don your flat caps, get your razors at the ready and grab your flappers as the family come together for a night that will end in murder. It takes a thief to catch a thief but what will it take for you to catch the killer in this “Sneaky” Whodunit!

Terms & Conditions: Guests must be at least 16 years of age to attend the Murder Mystery event. Guests 16 or 17 years old will be charged at the full adult price. To confirm your ticket only booking, a signed booking form and £20 per person deposit will be required. To confirm your residential stay booking, a signed booking form and £150 per room deposit will be required. A £50 per night single supplement fee will apply. Final payment is due no later than Friday 29th January 2027 . Guests with dietary requirements can be catered for, but our team must know with plenty of time in advance. Pre-orders are required no later than Friday 29th January 2027. Bookings with groups of 1 to 7 guests will be seated on joiner tables. Groups of 8 guests or more will be on private tables.

What is a Murder Mystery?

By putting various clues together and solving puzzles, the guests have a goal to solve the murder and find the killer! Murder Mystery Nights are an immersive experience, and at Oakley Hall Hotel, we have elevated ours with a stunning dining experience at the Glasshouse Restaurant too. With our residential package, you can turn this Murder Mystery Night into a Murder Mystery Weekend getaway!

How long is the Murder Mystery?
The Murder Mystery event at Oakley Hall is roughly 3.5 hours long, starting at 7pm and ending at 10.30pm. This is an adequate time for you to investigate the storyline and showcase your detective skills!

Is there an age restriction?
As the Murder Mystery Night is an immersive experience, there is an age restriction. Guests attending the Murder Mystery event at Oakley Hall must be at least 16 years of age.
