We understand that for many it's not a family holiday without your beloved pooches, which is why we are delighted to welcome your dogs to Oakley Hall Hotel!
Each dog will be welcomed to one of our designated dog-friendly Courtyard rooms with a bed, blanket, water & food bowls, a bag of treats and waste bags. With private parking & quick access to our hotel grounds the Courtyard is just a short walk from the main hotel. There will be an additional charge of £35 per dog per stay.
Dogs are welcome on our outdoor Garden Terrace area of the Glasshouse Restaurant, provided they are well-behaved and do not disturb our other guests. It is mandatory that all dogs are kept on the lead in public areas of the property.

Woodland Walks Hampshire
Our dog-friendly hotel in Hampshire has 315 acres of beautiful grounds surrounded by forest, perfect for a stroll with your dogs. Oakley Hall is situated in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, providing walking trails for you and your four-legged friend. There are plenty of woodland walks you can take your pet around when visiting: the Woodland Walk around the Oakley Hall grounds (time of walk: roughly 30 – 45 minutes), the walk to St Leonard’s Church in Oakley, which takes you through beautiful countryside fields (time of walk: roughly 60 minutes) or you can find other popular countryside trails in and around Basingstoke if you click the button below.

Each room features king sized beds, smart TVs and eco- friendly Algotherm toiletries.
And for your pups, you will a cozy dog bed & blanket, bowls, treats and waste bags!

How many dogs are allowed in each room?
There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room charged at £35 per dog per stay. Please specify the number of dogs at the time of booking. Guide dogs will not be charged.

Will there be a bed for my dog in my room?
Yes! There will be a bed, blanket, food bowl, water bowl, bag of treats and waste bags in your room on arrival. We do suggest that you bring a bed or blanket from home, so your dog has something familiar to snuggle into.

Can I leave my dog in my room unattended?
Dogs are not permitted to be in your room unattended, except during breakfast hours and lunch & dinner. Dogs are welcome to join you for dinner on the Garden Terrace, provided they are well behaved and kept on the lead at all times.

Can I take my dog for a walk on the grounds?
Absolutely! We encourage you to explore our beautiful grounds & woodlands with your canine-companions. In respect of our other guests and to protect our local wildlife, we ask that dogs remain on a short lead whilst outside of their rooms enjoying the estate.

What is the difference between a dog-friendly hotel room and a normal hotel room?
Depending on the room you choose to stay in, our bedrooms vary in size and amenities. Our dog-friendly bedrooms in the Courtyard are located just a short walk from the Main House, with easy access to the grounds.

How big are the dog-friendly rooms at Oakley Hall?
The standard dog-friendly room at our hotel can sleep 2, however if specified, we can sleep up to 4 in one room.
The dog-friendly Garden Cottage sleeps up to 6 and is the perfect space for bigger families.
