Oakley Hall is a grand Georgian manor home that boasts plenty of space and flexibility for your Sikh wedding celebrations. Our 230-year-old wedding venue is home to so many wonderful memories and we would be honoured to add your special day to the collection.
With a magical winding driveway, 8 unique function spaces (including the large capacity Garden Pavilion), 50 onsite bedrooms and over 300 acres of estate gardens, there's no better venue to get together with your loved ones and celebrate the most special day of your lives. And what's more, our independent venue strives to be as flexible as possible for your wedding celebrations, so we would be delighted to work with you, your caterers and/or wedding planners to design the Sikh dream wedding day.
From intimate Maiyan ceremonies on our terrace, energy-filled Sangeets with all of your nearest and dearest by your side and vibant Baraats up our 500m driveway, we've hosted it all! Our beautiful Garden Pavilion, which can host up to 350 guests, is the perfect setting for your wedding reception where your caterers can prepare traditional dishes in the private kitchen.

The beauty of Dry Hiring Oakley Hall as your Sikh wedding venue is the complete control & flexibility you will have to design your wedding day. We understand that every family and culture have their own traditions, which is why we are more than happy to work with you, your families and your caterers/planners and your suppliers.
When you hire Oakley Hall on a Dry Hire basis, you will be able to hire the caterer of your choice. Of course, we can provide you with a list of recommended caterers who we have previously worked with or you can choose your own (an onboarding fee may apply). Your caterers will have exclusive use of the Garden Pavilion's private kitchen, so they can work their magic behind the scenes.
The large capacity Garden Pavilion offers ample space for your wedding day set-ups. Whether you're wanting a Mandap for your Anand Karaj ceremony (providing that your Granthi is happy to perform the ceremony outside of a Gurdwara) or a large dinner for your reception, our versatile venue is the perfect spot for Sikh wedding.

The manor house of Oakley Hall holds it's very own Georgian history, whilst offering our couples with a "blank canvas" to design the wedding day of their dreams. From the large capacity (grand ballroom style) Garden Pavilion for your Sikh wedding reception to our various additional function rooms to use at your leisure, our venue boasts the perfect setting for your Sikh wedding day.
For dining
Hosting up to 350 guests, the Garden Pavilion is one of Hampshire's most beautiful large guest capacity event spaces. The Garden Pavilion has a private entrance, entry walkway and outdoor terrace which provides you and your guests with privacy throughout your event. With it's very own private kitchen & bar, your caterers can work their magic behind the scenes. Our team would also be more than happy to hide/remove any traces of alcohol within the Garden Pavilion.
For celebrating
The Garden Pavilion provides ample space for you and your guests to party in style. Your live entertainment and DJs can set-up in the pavilion, whilst leaving more than enough room for you and your guests to dance the night away on the dance floor!
For your Baraat
Make your Baraat a ceremony to remember with our 500m winding driveway, acres of countryside surrounding you on both sides and a grand Georgian entryway. Dhol drums are permitted at Oakley Hall (after 11am only) alongside horses and smoke flares, allowing you to have an unforgettable Baraat!
For your civil ceremony
Some couples like to intertwine their Sikh wedding celebrations with a civil ceremony before or after at Oakley Hall. Our wedding venue is home to 7 additional civil ceremony spaces, including the beautiful outdoor Woodland Pavilion. Couples can also choose to have their civil ceremony on our lawns (additional fees apply)!

Oakley Hall is nestled within over 300 acres of estate gardens. Including a one-of-a-kind topiary garden, a Kitchen Garden, immaculately mowed lawns with a sparkling water fountain and surrounding farmland - Oakley Hall sets the most picturesque setting for your wedding day.

Oakley Hall is home to 50 beautiful onsite bedrooms & suites. Couples can choose to contract to a number of bedrooms which offers a guaranteed bedroom rate for your guests. Alternatively, with our 'Keys to the Estate' exclusive package, couples can have entire exclusivity of Oakley Hall with the inclusion of all bedrooms!

Oakley Hall is a stunning Hampshire manor house which is home to 47 beautiful bedrooms & suites and the quaint 3 bedroom Garden Cottage. All are designed with the highest of standards and make the cosiest spot for you and your guests to relax in after the celebrations. All of our weddings are guaranteed a wedding rate starting from £225 for a Deluxe Bedroom. If you're looking to book a large number of bedrooms for your special day, you can contract to a minimum of 15 to receive an exclusive wedding accommodation rate which can be offered to your guests.
For brides or grooms who are looking for a dedicated space for their wedding preparations, our Whitchurch Suite is the perfect spot. It offers 3 light up vanity mirrors, 2 hair dresser chairs, mini drinks fridge, Sonos speakers, curtained off dressing area, cosy lounge area and a toilet & sink.
For guests who are travelling from abroad and want to make the most out of their time in Hampshire, we can provide you with our top recommendations of local attractions for you to visit! Basingstoke is the closest large town to our venue and offers an exciting selection of shops & restaurants to explore. There is a bus stop located directly outside Oakley Hall which can take you right into the town centre, or alternatively we would be happy to book you a taxi to take you where you need to go.
Our Georgian manor home is the most picturesque setting for your wedding Baraat. Dance your way up our 500m winding driveway with your loved ones, Dhol drums and smoke flares by your side. We have also seen grooms arrive at Oakley Hall on horseback or in a horse pulled carriage!
