Oakley Hall is one of Hampshire's most elegant & grand wedding venues. With historical Georgian architecture, 50 beautiful bedrooms & suites and over 300 acres of estate gardens - it can be your home-away-from-home during your wedding celebrations. Our experienced team and adaptable venue space is the perfect setting for you to host the most special day of your life whilst honouring your cultural and family wedding traditions.

The manor house, Oakley Hall, offers a one-of-a-kind setting for your ceremony and celebrations. From the long winding driveway for vibrant Baraat processions to the large capacity Garden Pavilion for Nikah ceremonies and Walimah reception feasts, it's hard to argue why our beautiful Dry Hire wedding venue isn't ideal for your celebrations! You may choose to book Oakley Hall for multiple-day marriage ceremonies, which will allow you and your family to host your Mehndi and Haldi ceremonies!

Why Oakley Hall is perfect for Pakistani weddings

When you book Oakley Hall on a Dry Hire basis you will have the flexibility to choose your own caterers, decor suppliers and entertainment, whether you're looking for a two day celebration embracing Muslim traditions or wanting to combine more than one culture with a modern day twist!

Our Garden Pavilion, which can seat up to 350 guests, offers the space and style to host your Pakistani wedding celebrations. The open plan layout of the room is perfect for larger guest numbers and also provides the space for segregated seating if required. For guests who require a quiet environment to pray throughout the day, Oakley Hall is home to seven additional function rooms that can be hired.

The Garden Pavilion is also home to a private kitchen where your caterers can work from. We understand that for many Pakistani couples it's essential to have traditional, home-cooked dishes served at their Walima. The Garden Pavilion is the perfect spot for your celebrations as it offers privacy from the rest of the property and gives you and your Halal caterers an entirely exclusive space to work from.

The Garden Pavilion - Ideal for large celebrations

The Garden Pavilion is arguably Hampshire's most stunning event space, accommodating up to 350 friends & family members. With a private bar, separate car park, private terrace overlooking our gardens and a separate entrance to the main hotel - it's the perfect setting for your traditional Pakistani wedding celebrations. The Garden Pavilion also has it's very own kitchen which provides plenty of space for your wedding caterers to work their magic! We offer three bar packages and our team can remove alcohol on request.

Inside the Garden Pavilion you will find an LED star lit ceiling, coloured up-lighters, a high quality sound system and doors that open up to the terrace. This large capacity room offers ample space for couples who want segregated seating throughout their ceremony and celebrations. (Alternatively, one of our other functions can be hired to offer more space and privacy for segregated seating).

We understand the importance of tradition and family, which is why our team are on hand throughout your wedding planning process to help make your celebrations unforgettable.

Cuisine is undeniably one of the most important factors for your wedding day and especially for a typical Pakistani wedding. When you Dry Hire Oakley Hall, you have the flexibility to choose your own caterers who can specialise in the home-cooked, traditional dishes that you would like to be served to your friends & family. Our Garden Pavilion kitchen is a completely separate space, so it will be your caterers and your caterers only using it on the day. This provides an ideal set-up to cater to Halal cuisine for larger guest numbers.

To incorporate all of the beautiful Muslim wedding traditions, we like to think that Oakley Hall is the perfect venue to do so. From our long winding driveway for the vibrant Baraat procession to the spacious Garden Pavilion for your Nikah ceremony and Walimah reception, Oakley Hall is a versatile space which holds plenty of character and historical charm. The Pavilion features LED lighting and up-lighters which can be tailored to match the colour scheme of your wedding whether it be deep burgundy, rich green or royal blue!

As well as the Garden Pavilion, Oakley Hall is home to 7 additional spaces that can be hired. These spaces can be used as you like whether it be as private rooms for prayer or for a quiet space for you and your guests to take a minute. These rooms and the Garden Pavilion can also be hired the day before and the day after your wedding for your Dholki, Mehndi and Pithi celebrations.

As an independent, family-owned wedding venue you will have the flexibility to adjust timings to suit your needs. Some couples look for earlier ceremonies whilst others want later ceremonies, the choice is yours! You can also hire Oakley Hall on a Dry Hire basis across multiple days or even on an basis.

Accommodation for your guests

Oakley Hall is home to 50 beautiful bedrooms, including the 3 bedroom Garden Cottage. Within those 50 bedrooms are 4 different standards; Deluxe Bedrooms, Executive Bedrooms, Courtyard Suites and Four Poster Suites. All bedrooms & suites are fitted with a modern en-suite, heating and air conditioning, 40" smart TVs and tea & coffee making facilities.

All guests and family members attending your wedding are invited to book bedrooms at Oakley Hall using a Promo Code which offers guaranteed rates starting from £225 per room per night. Couples are also welcome to contract to a minimum number of bedrooms for the night of the wedding which will offer an enhanced discount.

  • Why is Oakley Hall a popular venue for Pakistani weddings?

    Oakley Hall is the venue that has it all. A magical winding driveway, a large capacity function space seating up to 350 guests, 50 beautiful bedrooms and over 300 acres of estate gardens for you to enjoy. Our versatile event spaces and flexibility gives you the freedom to plan your wedding day the way you want it. The luxury Garden Pavilion is also home to a separate kitchen & bar which gives your caterers plenty of space to cook Halal cuisine for a larger guest numbers.

  • Can we bring our own Indian caterers to Oakley Hall?

    Absolutely! Oakley Hall work with a number of suppliers who cater Halal cuisine. These can be found here. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own preferred caterers but a member of our Senior Management team must meet with them prior to your wedding date and an additional onboarding fee will apply.

  • Can Oakley Hall host all parts of a Pakistani wedding?

    Oakley Hall would be delighted to host all parts of your wedding. From pre-ceremony rituals such as the Pithi and Mehndi celebrations to on-the-day events including the Nikah ceremony and Walimah Reception. We strive on being flexible to help meet your visions, so just tell us what you have in mind!

  • Are there options for gender separate seating or spaces?

    Yes. Depending on your requirements, we have multiple options for you to choose from to allow segregated seating between genders. The large capacity Garden Pavilion has amble space for separate seating with a curtain running through the middle (this will need to be hired/bought by yourselves separately). Alternatively, our seven additional function spaces can be hired to provide private rooms for men and women to sit separately.

  • Is the Garden Pavilion suitable for large Pakistani weddings?

    Most certainly! The Garden Pavilion can host up to 350 guests, subject to your wedding layout.

  • Does Oakley Hall offer wedding planning support?

    Our Wedding & Events team will be on hand from the moment you enquire to Oakley Hall. Our team are contactable 6 days a week via email or phone call. On the day, your wedding will be run by yourselves and/or your wedding caterers/planners. There will be a member of our team on hand during the day to answer any questions.

  • Are prayer spaces available on-site?

    Oakley Hall is home to seven spaces that can be hired, four of which are located on the ground floor and three are on the first floor. These spaces can be used at your leisure including for prayer.

  • How much does an average Pakistani wedding cost?

    The average Pakistani wedding in the UK is between £20,000 to £30,000. This price is entirely dependant on the location, venue, catering, decor, entertainment and guest numbers for your day.

  • Do you provide accommodation for wedding guests?

    Yes! Oakley Hall has 50 beautiful bedrooms & suites which are available for you and your guests to book. Couples are welcome to contract to a minimum of 15 bedrooms on the night of the wedding which provides bedroom rates from £202.50 per room. If couples choose not to contract, bedrooms are available on a first come first serve basis at £225 per room per night.

  • Where is Oakley Hall located and is it easy to access?

    Oakley Hall is located in North Hampshire just 10 minutes from Basingstoke, 45 minutes from Reading, Southampton & Guildford and under an hour from London.

    Driving: A 10 minute drive from both Junctions 6 and 7. Also nearby to the A34, A303 and M4.

    Train: 10 minutes from Basingstoke train station. Under an hour to London Waterloo on the train from Basingstoke.

    Plane: 40 minutes from Southampton Airport. 1 hour from Bournemouth Airport. Just over an hour from Gatwick and Heathrow Airports.
