Real Weddings at Oakley Hall Hotel

Phanida & Abishek

Saturday 6th September 2025

It's a stunning venue with the pefect mix of exterior Georgian elegance with interior modern comforts. Having the wedding at a hotel was very convenient for guests travelling from around the world (and closer afield) to stay. It had the capacity we needed for a dry hire wedding and cherry on the cake was being able to hire the beautiful library as a an extra function room.

What made Oakley Hall stand out for you as a wedding venue?

Red and gold are wedding colours in both South and East & Southeast Asian cultures so fitted in perfectly with our fusion wedding.

What inspired you to choose the decor & colour scheme of your wedding?

Being able to have the fusion wedding of our dreams all in one day : a Chinese tea ceremony, Baraat, civil ceremony and reception with Sangeet. It was so important to celebrate our respective cultures and put our personal stamp on the day!

What made your day extra special?

Our caterer, Ragasaan, was great in being about to arrange a variety of meals for our guests - sandwiches and light bites on arrival, East Asian canapes for our drinks reception, and an Indian feast for our wedding breakfast.
