A beautiful two day fusion Spring wedding. Starting with an elegant English ceremony in the Library followed by an Afternoon Tea Wedding Breakfast in the Garden Suite. Saturday welcomed Aashini & Bhavik’s Hindu ceremony which included a breath-taking Mandap and celebration in the Garden Pavilion. A wonderful few days of family, friends and smiles!

Oakley hall had a little bit of everything that we were looking for, the ground, the rustic yet modern and neat ground. We LOVED that we could hire the whole venue for 2 days to make it feel like a getaway for us and our guests.

What made Oakley Hall stand out for you as a wedding venue?

I wanted our civil ceremony to remain simple as the library itself is so stunning! We went for a ivory with various shades of green to complement the darker more neutral tones of the library and garden suite.

What inspired you to choose the decor & colour scheme of your wedding?

Walking into the grounds as husband and wife for the first time.

What was the most memorable part of your day?

On the staircase.

Where was your favourite photo spot?

The incredibly helpful staff on duty at Oakley Hall. Everyone went above and beyond, from reception to kitchen staff. Everyone have so flexible and mitigated any issues as soon as they arose.

What made your day extra special?

Listen to your gut, Oakley Hall was the first of seven venues we visited and the bar was set out since then.

Do you have any top tips for other couples planning their wedding?

The afternoon tea was our wedding breakfast and honestly everything was unreal. Hot fresh scones might make the top of the list.

Tell us about your wedding breakfast. What was your favourite dish?
