Choosing your own caterers, entertainers and decorators, hosting unique ceremonies & rituals and even bringing in your own priests or celebrants are all ways that you can make your wedding day your own at Oakley Hall. Our team have vast experience of organising and hosting Indian weddings, so we can provide you with a list of recommended suppliers or meet with your own chosen supplier prior to the day.
Our large capacity Garden Pavilion can host up to 350 guests, accommodate Mandaps & fire ceremonies and provide plenty of space for your caterers on the day. The beauty of being located in the countryside is the vast space we can offer to you and your guests. Picture a vibrant Baraat procession along our winding 500m driveway, a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim or Jain wedding ceremony in the spacious Garden Pavilion and a cocktail or mocktail reception in our gardens!
Your Indian wedding, your way - full flexibility
With many different elements to Indian Weddings, Dry Hire venue offers you the flexibility to choose what you want and when you want it. Decide on your caterers either by choosing from our recommended suppliers list (such as Ragamama Ragasaan or Sapna) or bring in your own. Have full control of the timeline of your pre-wedding Mehndi, Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies, Vivah or Nikah wedding ceremonies and afternoon/evening Indian wedding traditions and celebrations. Organise your choice of suppliers, including live DJs, decor, florists, photographers & videographers and live musicians.
The Garden Pavilion - Ideal for large celebrations
The Garden Pavilion is arguably Hampshire's most stunning event space, accommodating up to 350Â friends & family members. With a private bar, separate car park, private terrace overlooking our gardens and a separate entrance to the main hotel - it's the perfect setting for your Indian wedding celebrations. The Garden Pavilion also has it's very own kitchen which provides plenty of space for your wedding caterers to work their magic!
Inside the Garden Pavilion you will find an LED star lit ceiling, coloured up-lighters, a high quality sound system and doors that open up to the terrace. The height of the pavilion (minimum 2.1m, maximum 3.9m) allows you to have the Mandap of your choice whilst still providing ample space for you and your guests to celebrate in style. Our team can work with you and/or your caterers to find the right layout for you, whether it be a seated Anand Karaj, a Vivaha ceremony with an Agni Pooja or a Nikah ceremony with an aisle running down the centre.
Or if you're wanting to go even further, you can hire our beautiful lawns for your ceremony!

Oakley Hall's Dry Hire package includes everything you need for your special day. From the hire of the large capacity Garden Pavilion itself to the hire of two additional rooms which can be used at your leisure, whether it be as changing rooms, prayer rooms or storage rooms! Accommodation for your guests
Oakley Hall is home to 50 beautiful bedrooms, including the 3 bedroom Garden Cottage. Within those 50 bedrooms are 4 different standards: Deluxe Bedrooms, Executive Bedrooms, Courtyard Suites and Four Poster Suites. All bedrooms & suites are fitted with a modern en-suite, heating and air conditioning, 40" smart TVs and tea & coffee making facilities.
All guests and family members attending your wedding are invited to book bedrooms at Oakley Hall using a Promo Code, which offers guaranteed rates starting from £225 per room per night. Couples are also welcome to contract for a minimum number of bedrooms for the night of the wedding which will offer an enhanced discount.

Can we bring our own Indian caterers to Oakley Hall?
Absolutely! Caterers who are not currently listed on our recommended suppliers list will need to be pre-approved by a Senior Manager at Oakley Hall. This is to ensure that our facilities can accommodate the needs of your caterers and that our teams can work well side by side. An onboarding fee will be required from the couples.

Does Oakley Hall support Hindu wedding rituals like fire ceremonies?
Yes! We would be delighted to host your Agni Pooja ceremony at Oakley Hall. To ensure the safety of you, your guests and our team - indoor fire ceremonies must be within a Mandap. Fire ceremonies are also welcome to take place on our lawns.

How many guests can we invite to our Indian wedding at Oakley Hall?
Oakley Hall can accommodate up to 350 guests at your Indian wedding, but this is entirely dependant on the set-up of the room during your wedding day. It's worth considering your Mandap, dance floor, DJ and aisle dimensions before confirming your guest numbers!

Most certainly! Depending on what you need for each day you can choose to hire Oakley Hall exclusively, hire Oakley Hall with the Dry Hire package or hire each room separately as you need!

Does Oakley Hall provide any wedding planning support for Indian weddings?
With a combined 40 years of experience in the wedding industry, our Wedding & Events team are on hand throughout your wedding planning journey. We will work with your caterers and/or planners to make the wedding day of your dreams. On the day of the wedding, you and your wedding caterers/planners will be responsible for the running order and timeline. There will of course be a Hotel Representative throughout the day, but they will just be on hand to answer any questions.

Are there bridal suites and accommodation for guests on-site?
The Whitchurch Suite is Oakley Hall's specially designed wedding preparation suite. With 3 light up vanity mirrors, a comfy lounge area, curtained off dressing space, drinks fridge and Sonos speakers - it's the perfect setting for brides and grooms to prepare for the big day. We find that our couples also like to book the Garden Cottage for wedding prep! The Whitchurch Suite is available to hire at an additional fee.
Within the hotel there are 50 bedrooms & suites onsite. With 37 Deluxe Bedrooms, 6 Executive Bedrooms, 2 Courtyard Suites, 2 Four Poster Suites and the 3 bedroom Garden Cottage, there's plenty of space for you and your guests to unwind between the celebrations. You and your guests are welcome to book bedrooms & suites, but these will be available on a first come first serve basis - unless you choose to contract to them at the time of confirming your wedding.
