The Glasshouse Restaurant is the award-winning onsite restaurant of Oakley Hall Hotel. This wonderfully modern & bright space is where you can enjoy a mouthwatering and laid-back meal with your family, friends or colleagues, making it one of the best restaurants in Basingstoke for your get-together. Whether you choose to join us for a light bite at lunch, looking to indulge in a three course meal in the evening, hoping to indulge in a sumptuous Afternoon Tea or enjoy a traditional Sunday Roast - at our restaurant in Hampshire there's something for everyone to enjoy! Our innovative restaurant menus and wholesome approach to cooking have earned us two AA Rosettes, the gold Beautiful South Award for Restaurant of the Year and the Bronze 'Taste of England' award from Visit England.
We follow a ‘field to fork’ philosophy and pride ourselves on using local produce sourced from within a 50-mile radius, another reason why we are among the top Hampshire restaurants. Some produce even comes from our own Kitchen Garden, within which we grow a fantastic variety of vegetables, herbs, and even our own fruit. We are also proud members of the Hampshire Fare, where we consciously source from neighbouring Hampshire suppliers and bringing local communities together.

We are proud to home-grow a great selection of fruits, vegetables & herbs that are featured in the seasonal dishes on our menu. Our full-time Kitchen Garden Gardener, Justin, works hard behind the scenes to ensure we have happy & healthy produce for all our dishes all year round! Guests dining at our Hampshire restaurant are always welcome to take a self-guided tour around the Kitchen Garden.
